- This is a 6 month Fixed Term Contract role for a Procurement Manager, based at the office near Maidenhead (it may be extended to 9 months, but min of 6 months needed)
- You will be tasked with overhauling the Procurement process for the organisation and setting up new Procurement procedures.
- In the role, you’ll oversee the renegotiation with various suppliers to the business, from small ad-hoc supplier to contracted and committed supplier for various departments / areas of the business.
- As part of this, you will also seek new suppliers, putting things out to tender and agreeing new contracts where relevant.
- You will look to reduce spending in some areas, improve payment terms with others, and generally overhaul the procurement for the organisation.
- As part of the role, you will set-up a new procurement process and procedures framework that will continue with the business.
- You will also identify and implement process improvements in conjunction with line management team.
- This role offers some hybrid working with 1 day a week working from home. Package:
- Basic starting salary: Up to £70k (pro-rata)

- You will need to have previous experience in Procurement Management within a ISO or equivalent regulated industry, such as; medical, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, life sciences, aerospace, defence, government, finance, banking, education etc.
- It is essential that you’ve previously set-up new procurement procedures and processed, overhauling this area within a business previously.
* You will need to have experience working on CRM / ERP systems!
- You must have excellent communication skills, both verbally and written, along with being highly proficient in spreadsheets and word processor applications such as MS Word and Excel.
- You must live a suitable commutable distance from the Head Office near Maidenhead.
- Right to work in the UK is essential – no sponsorship available (sorry).
