The Role:
- The role is field-based and covering the Midlands, taking over a territory that has good potential for further growth.
- The Area Sales Manager will manage the day-to-day sales and works tasks related to running the territory.
- Supported by Clinical Specialists, you will be responsible for the promotion of the Electrosurgical products that you represent for the company.
- We are looking for a motivated self-starter with the ability to organise, prioritise and multi-task in a fast-paced dynamic industry.
- It is vital that you provide effective and efficient customer support to the highest possible standards at all times, collaborating closely with your colleagues in sales, clinical, administration and customer support when required.
- You will nurture and grow revenues from existing customers while seeking new business across the area.
- In this role, you will also research and investigate other opportunities to ensure business growth, attending Trade Shows etc., as required.
The Package:
- Up to £55k basic (DOE)
- Bonus scheme, £20k OTE
- Fully expensed company car (hybrid)
- 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays

The Ideal Person:
- A medical device sales background is essential with a minimum of 2 years experience commercially within the medical sector, ideally selling into surgical theatre.
- You could have been a Clinical Specialist previously, then had a short stint in sales, and you will still be considered.
- A human-based science degree is desirable, but not essential if you have proven medical sales experience.
- Understanding the sales process of medical devices is essential!
- You’ll need to be self-motivated, driven and have the ability to communicate with people from all backgrounds and levels.
- It’s essential that you are a proficient user of MS Office packages and CRM systems.
- An outgoing personality and excellent people skills are vital.
- Applications must live in the Midlands, East or West, and be in a suitable location to cover all the Midlands.
- Full Driving Licence is essential.
- Right to work in the UK is essential – no sponsorship available.
