This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who would like to work for a medical company, in a Learning and Development role for a 12+ month FTC. Ideal for someone with experience in an L&D role and wanting to work for an award-winning company that supports the UK healthcare system daily!
The Company: An international company that offers an amazing range of products to the NHS and private sector. They are a globally respected company that has won numerous awards and accolades for the products they provide. Well established and market-leading, a company that truly cares about employee wellbeing.
The Role: This is a hybrid role, 3 days in the office near Slough and 2 days WFH (you must work in the office at least some Mondays and Fridays!). This is a 12-14 month FTC but the successful applicant will be considered for other suitable roles within the business. You will coordinate and support the delivery of training programmes, including technical, onboarding, soft skills, and e-learning initiatives. It is vital that you maintain accurate training records and compliance documentation in the Learning Management System (LMS). In the role, you will support ISO13485 compliance by following controlled processes and participating in internal and external audits. It’s essential that you manage credentialing requirements for employees requiring hospital access. You will also organise and improve Company Induction and onboarding activities. As part of the role, you will design and upload engaging e-learning content. You will also coordinate in-person training workshops and external learning activities. You will liaise with external training providers and manage vendor relationships. You will be contributing to the overall company mission by supporting other members of HR as required.

The Ideal Person: It’s essential that you have previous experience in Learning & Development (L&D), training coordination, or in a similar HR development role; any sector/industry. Experience using a Learning Management System is vital as this is a highly regulated sector. An understanding of ISO regulations from any industry or working within a regulated environment, such as medical, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, construction, engineering, finance, etc., is highly desirable. Strong organisation and attention to detail is a must, along with a first-time right attitude! You will need to be a confident communicator, with the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels. Strong interpersonal skills are essential as you will need to speak to people of all levels and from various backgrounds! It’s vital that you can manage deadlines and prioritise workloads. A CIPD or learning-related qualification is desirable, but not essential. Applicants need to be located a reasonable commuting distance from the Head Office near Slough. Right to work in the UK is essential – no sponsorship available.
