Location: South East

Package: £40K – £55K (with overtime, bonus, car allowance, private medical insurance, 25 days annual leave + bank holidays). Friendly environment, career development, flexible working.

Ideal candidate: background in X‑Ray field service experience, but not mandatory; apply if experienced as a field service engineer with technical medical devices.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Perform repairs and PMs to the highest quality standards on a wide range of X‑ray equipment across multi‑vendor settings.
  • Collaborate with service coordinators to deliver optimal technical solutions while maintaining customer SLA’s.
  • Submit all service reports and complete admin tasks promptly within agreed timeframes.
  • Assist other engineers with complex repairs when required.
  • Provide technical support to customers and fellow engineers as needed.

Experience:

  • HNC/HND in a relevant discipline or minimum 3 years experience as a field service engineer in a similar environment.
  • Experience on X‑ray equipment (advantage).
  • Understanding of electronic systems and processes.
  • Excellent fault‑finding and diagnostic skills.
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Experience using service management software.
  • Ability to interpret complex technical instructions, system manuals and parts compatibility matrices.
  • Logical decision‑making and clear communication.
  • Capability to manage expectations and conduct challenging conversations with customers and team members.
