A respected company with a great range of products and training services, looking for an enthusiastic person to join the team in an Events Support Assistant function, helping with all things technical in relation to the devices.
Based from the offices near Bristol, working a 40 hour week, 5 days in 7, but this will include some evenings and weekends with events being held across the UK.

The Role:
This is an Events Support Assistant role, based from the head office near Bristol with national coverage for these medical events. Assisting in the set-up and delivery of these medical educational events, which use some amazing medical technology. Working with the Events Manager you will be responsible for delivering the event experience throughout the training venues. You will be the on-site point of contact and responsible for personally transporting, setting up, and returning the medical technology equipment to and from the training sites.
During the event you will be responsible for any technical enquiries, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail, while delivering daily operational excellence and great customer service to these healthcare professionals. During the training events you will also identify any commercial sales leads and pass them on to the Sales Manager. Some events are held on evenings and weekends, and these are across the country. When not attending events, you will be based from the office and working on other technical tasks, such as the basic repair and maintenance of the equipment, and other admin duties.

The Ideal Person:
This role is ideally suited to someone with a strong technical passion for IT, technology, or other related electronics. You must be excited about healthcare technology and wish to aid in the delivery of key educational events to healthcare professionals, knowing you're doing your bit in helping patients' lives. It's vital to have a high level of technical/electronics know-how, either through formal education or your passion. You must be comfortable with meeting new people, engaging with people of all levels and attending small to medium size educational events. It is vital that you've got a good attitude and customer-facing experience, from any role, as this is an essential part of the role. A strong understanding of IT, set-up, networking, upgrading etc. is essential; if you're very comfortable around that kind of kit, you will be more than happy with these bits of kit!
