The Role:
Covering Scotland, taking over a territory that has lots of existing clients but with great potential for growth. You will concentrate on selling surgical and capital equipment into the NHS and private sector hospitals, speaking with specialist departments such as Neuro, Spinal, and General Surgery. The primary objectives are for sales growth, maintenance of profit margins, and improving market share across your area. You will be utilising active selling strategies and the key knowledge gained from product training. It is essential to drive the business in a competitive market, focusing on company core values while maintaining a good market share. You will be utilising Clinical Specialist and trials to win new business, converting business from competitors. Full initial training will be provided with career outgoing development.
Package:
- Basic salary depending on experience - up to £45k
- Good Commission Scheme

- 25 days annual leave, plus public holidays
The Ideal Person:
- It is vital to have a BSc or equivalent in a human-based science
- A minimum of 1 year experience (ideally more) within medical devices sales, med-tech, or medical capital equipment
- Experience selling into the NHS and Private Sector is important
- An Associate medical sales rep with the above experience who is looking to take a step-up will be strongly considered for this role
- An outgoing personality and excellent people skills are vital for this role, as you'll be meeting and engaging with diverse groups of people with a range of clinical skills
- Knowledge of the surgical environment and understanding best practices within that theatre setting is required
- Applications must be living in the Glasgow, Edinburgh or surrounding areas along the M8 corridor (or be willing to relocate at your own expense)
- Full UK Driving Licence is essential
- Right to work in the UK is essential – no sponsorship available
