Graduate Trainee - Medical Device Sales

This is fantastic opportunity for someone who would like to start a career in Medical Device Sales.

Ideal for a graduate of Human Sciences with a First Class Degree or Masters, or a clinical person who wants to progress away from direct care!

The Role

  • This is a great graduate / entry level opportunity for someone to get into medical device sales, with fantastic initial onboarding and training, along with continued development throughout your rewarding career.
  • Covering a territory that includes a range private and NHS hospital settings across the South London area.
  • Working closely with the Regional Sales Manager to develop yourself in the medical device sales industry.
  • Completing training modules, attending various training and CPD events, working towards your promotion to Account Manager, and beyond.
  • Shadowing team members, including clinical staff, and working closing with senior people to build on your training and development in sales and clinical understanding of the products.
  • Contributing to the regional sales targets by supporting other members of the sales team.
  • Attending, Regional and National Sales Meetings, along with exhibitions around UK or internationally.
  • This role progresses from Trainee Account Manager and beyond, which also comes with increases in basic salary and bonus schemes.

Package

  • Basic salary: £28k
  • London Allowance (5-20% on top of basic salary, depending what Zone you live in)
  • Year 1 bonus scheme

The Ideal Person

  • You'll need a BSc or equivalent in a Human Sciences based degree with a First, or a 2:1 with a Masters, along with a desire to work in medical device sales!
  • However, some clinical staff without a degree, who have a very good understanding of human anatomy and physiology, would be strongly considered for this role!
  • Anyone applying will need to have some work experience, which could be while at University or following graduation, and you will ideally have some customer facing time in your work experience.
  • It's essential that you have an outgoing personality and excellent people skills, they’re vital for this career path.
  • You must live in the South London area, within the M25 or be very close to it! (living in this area makes it more suitable for your initial training, and the ongoing management of the territory).
  • You will need a full UK driving licence.
  • Right to work in the UK essential – no sponsorship available (sorry)
