Territory: Northern Ireland

Package: Up to £65k basic, £15k OTE (Uncapped), Company car (hybrid), Pension, Healthcare, Laptop/phone, Holiday

The Job:

  • You will be responsible for selling an exciting range of consumable products into the NHS and private hospitals with the main product discipline being endoscopy.
  • Working closely with another colleague covering NI, your aim is to achieve the regional sales plan through effective account management.
  • Identify and engage key accounts, KOLs, and stakeholders in the NHS and private sectors, maximising the spending on those accounts.
  • You will manage and negotiate contracts, pricing, and tenders in coordination with senior leadership.
  • As required, you will provide clinical support, training, and market access insights to clinical staff across the health service.
  • You will maintain strong professional relationships with decision-makers, finance managers, and referring clinicians.
  • As part of the role, you will monitor competitor activity and contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences and networking events as required.

The Experience:

  • You must have previous experience of medical sales in Ireland.
  • A degree in a related field is desirable (e.g. Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences, Nursing) but this is NOT essential if you have the proven sales experience.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills are essential.
  • You need the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • We're looking for someone who is detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • You will need a thorough understanding of national/local healthcare systems in the NHS and private sector.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and organisational skills are a must.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is an essential skill.
  • You must live a commutable distance from Belfast as there is a lot of work in the Belfast and surrounding areas.
  • You will need a valid driving license.
  • Full right to work is essential, and no sponsorship on offer.
