Our client is a reputable civil engineering sub contractor based in offices in Wakefield. You would be required to manage the commercial aspects of multiple sites while offering support to operational teams as well as other members of the commercial team. Experienced Quantity Surveyors will be considered with sector background in either Housebuilding, Commercial Construction or Civil Engineering.
Duties and responsibilities will include:
- Valuations
- Account Management
- Value Maximisation
- Cost Control
- Value Engineering
- Contract Awareness
- Procurement and Management of Subcontractors
- Payments to Supply Chain
To be considered for this role the successful candidate should have:
- Construction related qualification such as BSc (Hons) Degree, HNC/HND or a Diploma
- Conversant in standard methods of measurement
- Proficient in general IT applications such as Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Excellent verbal and written skills.
- A driving license
