We are working with a well respected groundworks and civil engineering contractor based in Sheffield to recruit an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the team delivering Residential Groundworks Projects throughout Yorkshire.
The Role
- Monthly Applications for payment.
- Pricing and agreement of variations.
- Procurement of subcontractors.
- Processing of Subcontract payments.
- Monthly forecasting of revenue & costs.
- Monthly CVR.
- Cash collection & debt control.
- Final accounts.
- Management of projects with Contracts Manager to achieve target margins.
- Liaising with clients & construction team on value engineering or cost reduction opportunities.
- Regular site visits.
- Attending prestart meetings and regular progress meetings.
- Reporting to Commercial Manager and Commercial Director.
- Knowledge of or experience dealing with NEC contracts an advantage.
