There is more to this Leeds based, Senior Electrical Design Engineer role than building services design. You will be part of a small team that is evolving, growing and in a unique position. They are moving into stunning offices with an inspiring view of the architecture of Leeds. The culture is an ideal balance of commerciality, quality and pressure; they are currently turning down work from their key client as opposed to expecting large amounts of overtime or sacrificing quality.
Their team leader may be relatively new to the business, but we’ve known each other for decades. He’s already implemented changes which are being adopted by the wider business. In this role you will be a key part to achieving that growth and in the process, assuring your own career development as you work together to take the team to approximately 30 people.
You will need to:
- be degree qualified in an electrical engineering subject with a building services focus
- be working towards Chartership, or at least have it actively on your radar
- have worked with UK electrical design standards for a minimum of four years. This could have been in the UK, or as part of an overseas team supporting UK projects.
- be keen to progress and grow, not just yourself, but contribute to the active development of the team.
