An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join one of the country's leading Facilities Management companies. This will be a mobile role covering Plymouth and the surrounding areas.
The ideal candidate will have a strong electrical background and hold electrical qualifications such as NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in electrical installations or maintenance, and 18th edition as a minimum.
The role will involve:
- Working as part of a team at a number of retail sites in the region undertaking a range of building maintenance duties.
- Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical plant.
- Supporting other technicians with any major or minor maintenance work.
- Completing all necessary PPM's and reactive maintenance schedules within agreed timescales and ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed accurately.
- Prioritising and completing minor maintenance and repair work to agreed timescales.
- Ensuring all tools and equipment necessary to complete minor maintenance and repairs are always available and serviceable.
- Working with company and client colleagues to ensure laid-down standards of quality are always maintained.
Basic Salary - £36,558 + £1,500 (competency payment after catering equipment training) + £2,535 standby payments = £40,593. Travel time paid after first 30 minutes at overtime rate. Overtime 1.5x Monday to Friday, 2x Saturday and Sunday.
