An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Engineer to join a well-established and highly skilled engineering team at a technically advanced, highly regulated site in Cramlington. This role is perfect for a hands-on, mechanically minded engineer who thrives in a varied environment and enjoys taking ownership of maintenance activities. You will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of critical site operations, working across a diverse range of plant and systems. Key Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for delivering both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a range of mechanical building services systems, including:
- Steam boilers and steam/condensate systems
- Chilled water systems
- Compressed air systems
- Pumps and associated plant
- Air handling units (AHUs)
- BMS-linked mechanical equipment
- Carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance across site assets
- Diagnosing faults and completing effective repairs
- Identifying opportunities for improvement
