A leading UK building services contractor is seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Installation Engineer to join their growing team. This role is ideal for a skilled AC professional who enjoys varied installation work, nationwide travel, and delivering high-quality projects across commercial and critical environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation & Commissioning
- Install a range of AC and refrigeration systems including split systems, VRV/VRF, AHUs, chillers, and close control systems.
- Carry out full commissioning, testing, and project handover procedures.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manufacturer documentation.
- Oversee and coordinate sub-contractor activity where required.
- Compliance & Safety
- Work in line with F-Gas regulations and relevant industry standards.
- Maintain clear, accurate installation and commissioning documentation.
- Follow site safety protocols, RAMS, and company procedures.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Essential
- F-Gas Category 1 (2079) certification
- Strong proven background in AC installation
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Desirable
- Experience working within critical environments (e.g. data centres)
- Understanding of BMS/controls
- IPAF / PASMA certifications
- Safe isolation competency
