We are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor / Employer's Agent on behalf of an established consultancy based in South Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity to join a specialist practice delivering mainly residential schemes, working directly with housing associations and developers across the North West and Yorkshire. You will take a lead role across multiple Design & Build residential projects, acting as Employer's Agent and overseeing multiple schemes.
Projects include:
- New build housing developments
- Refurbishment schemes
- Housing association projects
You’ll be running your own projects, liaising directly with clients, and ensuring successful delivery across programme, cost, and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Acting as Employer's Agent on Design & Build residential schemes
- Managing projects from pre-contract through to completion
- Administering contracts and issuing instructions
- Monitoring programme, risk, and performance
- Leading client meetings and stakeholder coordination
- Overseeing cost control, valuations, and variations
About You:
- 5+ years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor, and proven track record acting as Employer's Agent
- Strong experience working on housing / residential projects
- Confident running projects independently
- Experience with Design & Build contracts
- MRICS (or working towards)
- Candidates from a Building Surveying background with strong Employer's Agent experience will also be considered.
