An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join one of the country's leading Facilities Management companies working at a static site in Bedford. The ideal candidate will have a strong electrical background and hold electrical qualifications such as NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in electrical installations or maintenance, and 18th edition as a minimum. A driving license is also required for use of the pool van.
The role will be working as part of a team in a distribution centre to maintain and repair a range of electrical and mechanical plant and equipment. Responsibilities include:
- Supporting other technicians with any major or minor maintenance work.
- Completing all necessary PPM's and reactive maintenance schedules within agreed timescales and ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed accurately.
- Prioritising and completing minor maintenance and repair work to agreed timescales.
- Ensuring all tools and equipment necessary to complete minor maintenance and repairs are always available and serviceable.
- Working with company and client colleagues to ensure laid-down standards of quality are always maintained.
