We are looking for an experienced Fire Alarm Installation & Commissioning Engineer to join our growing engineering team covering Leeds and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation of fire alarm systems in commercial and industrial properties
  • Commissioning and fault-finding on fire detection systems
  • Testing and inspection of fire alarm equipment
  • Completing service reports and certification paperwork
  • Working independently and as part of a wider engineering team
  • Ensuring all work complies with current fire safety regulations and standards

Experience & Requirements

  • Experience installing and commissioning fire alarm systems
  • Good knowledge of conventional and addressable systems
  • Familiar with manufacturers such as: Gent, Advanced, Morley, C-Tec, Kentec
  • Understanding of BS5839 standards
  • Full UK driving licence
  • ECS/CSCS card preferred
  • FIA qualifications beneficial but not essential

Travel Requirements

  • The role will involve travel across the UK depending on project requirements
  • Occasional staying away from home will be required
  • All accommodation and travel expenses will be covered by the company
