We are recruiting on behalf of a leading facilities management organisation for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to support one of the UK's major supermarket clients.
The role involves maintaining and repairing a range of electrical and mechanical equipment across retail outlets, undertaking regular planned store visits to carry out reactive work, PPMs and minor repairs as directed by the client. In addition to electrical duties, the successful candidate will also be expected to carry out general handyman tasks as required.
Key Responsibilities:- Complete the PPM schedule within agreed timescales, ensuring all paperwork is accurately maintained
- Conduct emergency lighting and fire alarm tests and repairs
- Carry out general repairs and maintenance across customer sites as directed by management
- Perform general handyman duties including basic plumbing, joinery, and fabric repairs as required
- Identify non-repairable faults in plant and machinery and advise the Line Manager with suitable replacement recommendations
- NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds 236 Part 1 & 2 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation/Maintenance
- City & Guilds 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- AM2 / 2391 qualification
- Full UK driving licence
- ~33 Days Holiday (including)
