We are working with one of the UK's leading privately owned civil engineering contractors to recruit a Senior Estimator for their South Yorkshire Regional Office.
Other main duties include:
- Manage and co-ordinate information for bids and tenders
- Ensuring the database of suppliers and sub-contractors is maintained
- Liaison with clients to ensure thorough understanding of scope of works
- Working with planning and project delivery teams to ensure a robust programme of work
- Assessing and advising on commercial risk
- Preparing and submitting quotations for work
- Monitoring the stages of a project to make sure that costs are kept in line with forecasts
About You: The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimating in civil engineering, with experience of projects of a similar nature which include highways, earthworks, and infrastructure.
