Sales Account Manager – AHU / Air Conditioning
Location: Scotland Central belt, with wider travel across Scotland
Salary: Up to £60,000 + up to 60% bonus + car allowance or company car + benefits
We are recruiting on behalf of a leading HVAC manufacturer who specialise in air handling units, applied systems and advanced air conditioning solutions. They are looking for a Sales Account Manager to join their team, focusing on the AHU refurbishment and upgrade markets while also promoting a wider range of energy efficient HVAC products.
The role will involve managing existing accounts and developing new business with M&E contractors, FM providers, consultants and end-users across sectors such as commercial buildings, retail, leisure, healthcare and industrial.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing and growing accounts within the AHU and air conditioning markets
- Preparing quotations, proposals and providing technical sales support
- Negotiating orders and managing contracts through to delivery
- Identifying new business opportunities within the M&E and FM sectors
- Providing technical advice to clients on energy efficient HVAC solutions
- Monitoring competitor activity and market trends
- Maintaining accurate records and forecasts using CRM systems
- Attending site visits, client meetings and industry events
Requirements:
- Proven sales/account management experience within the HVAC sector
- Knowledge of AHUs, chillers, applied air conditioning systems and related technologies
- Technical understanding of HVAC equipment and applications
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage complex sales cycles
- Confident communicator with negotiation skills
- IT literate (Microsoft Office, CRM – Salesforce experience an advantage)
- HNC/HND or equivalent in Mechanical/HVAC Engineering would be a bonus but not required
Package includes:
- Basic salary up to £60,000
- Performance bonus of up to 60% of salary
- Company car or car allowance
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
- Pension scheme, laptop and full business tools
