Calibre Search are looking to speak with ambitious Building Surveyors who would be interested in working for a well-respected & market leading multi-disciplinary construction consultancy that provides a comprehensive range of professional services in the housing sector. This is a great opportunity for an intermediate level Building Surveyor to be part of a high skilled and established team based near Huddersfield.
The work will include a range of high-rise recladding/refurbishment, new build developments and estate regeneration projects all across the UK making this a varied role and a role which will heavily contribute towards completing your APC. Perfect position for Building Surveyor looking to take on more responsibility and be integral to the team as the business goes from strength to strength in the market. Role/ Responsibilities:
- Undertake site inspections to check on progress
- Liaise with and supervise contractors and client project officers
- Assist with payment valuations
- Organise and manage site level meetings
- Quality control of contractor workmanship
- Health & safety compliance (CDM regulations)
- Project administration and management activities on behalf of our clients
- Handover inspections and preparing site reports.
Requirements:
- RICS or CIOB accredited construction degree
- Wanting to become MRICS/MCIOB qualified
- Post-qualification experience
- Proven site experience & providing similar services in your current role
- Confident communicator & experienced in client facing roles
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- A 'self-starter' able to be trusted to work with a high degree of autonomy & self-motivation.
- Full UK driving licence
