Calibre Search are proud to be working with one of the world leaders in Design Engineering on a number of projects across the UK. Their clients range from HS2, Network Rail, National Highways and Local Authorities with designs ranging from strategy, concept and feasibility to detail design and construction support.
To continue to support their clients develop sustainable drainage solutions to protect communities and infrastructure from flooding, they are seeking an experienced and recognised drainage leader to come in at Associate level and be based in their Leeds City Centre office. Your role will be key in developing the team profile and expertise and further expanding the team of over 50 Engineers.
Their national Water Engineering team are technical leaders in the sector and foster a proactive, responsible and collaborative work ethic. They are committed to providing an inspirational, supportive and inclusive workplace environment and the successful candidates will become a key part of this team, dedicated to delivering innovative, lasting solutions to the highest profile challenges faced by their clients.
As part of the role, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of a wide variety of civil engineering projects, such as highway, rail, infrastructure and site development schemes and also leading the delivery of projects from concept through to completion and ensuring they are delivered to a high technical standard, in a timely manner and with commercial success.
You will have a track record of delivering a broad range of drainage services for the most significant transport and infrastructure projects in the UK, leading client relationships and attending client progress meetings and also managing a team of drainage engineers, supporting their technical development and ensuring they are resourced on projects.
As a Chartered or Incorporated Engineer, you will have extensive and proven experience post degree in designing sustainable drainage solutions and a thorough knowledge and understanding of drainage design principles and solutions to manage infrastructure drainage.
You will be proficient in use of Civil 3D and Causeway Flow software and have a proven knowledge of relevant technical standards, UK Building Regulations, Design Standards, Codes of Practice and Health & Safety regulations.
As much as this role is based in Leeds, their hybrid working policy allows the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home as well as collaborating in their contemporary offices across the UK.
