A well-established and expanding Cost Consultancy is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join its growing team in Cheshire. This is a great opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor with 3+ years of consultancy/PQS experience to take the next step in their career, working on a diverse range of projects across the logistics, industrial and infrastructure sectors. The consultancy has a strong presence across the UK and continues to secure a healthy pipeline of projects.
You will join a collaborative team where you will have the opportunity to develop your technical and commercial skills while gaining exposure to a range of high-value developments.
The Opportunity
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will work alongside experienced cost management professionals, supporting clients and project teams from early stage design through to completion. Your responsibilities will include delivering a range of pre- and post-contract quantity surveying services, working closely with clients, contractors, consultants and other project stakeholders. You will have the opportunity to work across a varied project portfolio while continuing to develop your career within a supportive consultancy environment.
About You
We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor who has:
- 3+ years' experience within a consultancy / PQS environment.
- A degree in Quantity Surveying, or related discipline.
- Experience providing pre- and post-contract quantity surveying services.
- Good commercial awareness and strong analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship building abilities.
- A proactive approach and the ability to manage your own workload.
- The confidence to work as part of a wider project team and engage with clients and stakeholders.
- MRICS or working towards chartership would be beneficial, but is not essential.
