We're recruiting a Senior Transport Consultant to support major developments and regeneration projects from our client’s London office. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead transport planning and infrastructure workstreams across complex projects
- Provide expert advice on highway design, sustainable transport, and access strategies
- Manage client relationships and contribute to repeat business
- Represent the consultancy at pre-application meetings, design reviews, and consultations
- Prepare high-quality reports, proposals, and technical documents
- Support and mentor junior team members
- Assist with project management and budget control
- Contribute to bid writing and business development efforts
Requirements:
- Proven experience in transport planning/consultancy, ideally within a development context
- Strong project management skills with a commercial mindset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams (e.g., architects, planners)
- Relevant qualifications in transport planning, civil engineering, or similar
- Chartership or working towards it (desirable)
