This role is within the new Birmingham office of an already established Building Services and Sustainability consultancy founded over 50 years ago and currently employing nearly 60 engineers across their Southern Hub and now Birmingham office. As a business, they have curated a consistent and strong client basis completing projects within the Residential, Commercial, Data Centre, Education and Healthcare sectors to a detailed design level.
Due to a strong pipeline in work, they have extended their UK presence with a newly formed Birmingham Office already boasting 5/6 staff. They are now seeking a Trainee Electrical Engineer to join the business. Their main focus will be to learn and develop whilst being put through a University Degree (1 day a week).
Requirements- A strong interest in Building Services or Electrical Engineering.
- Experience using design software.
- Fantastic attitude and eagerness to learn and develop new skills.
- Ability to work within a team.
- Ability to travel to Birmingham City Centre.
- Meet the educational requirements to apply for an Electrical Engineering Degree at university (A-levels in Maths, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics etc).
- Complete Timesheets in a timely manner.
