We're recruiting on behalf of an established and award-winning architectural practice, working across residential, education, healthcare, commercial and mixed-use projects, with a particular focus on residential-led schemes for housing associations, local authorities and private developers. This is a well-regarded, design-led practice known for long-term client relationships and repeat commissions rather than one-off jobs.
They're now looking for a Senior Architectural Technologist to join the team and take ownership of detailed design and technical delivery across a varied, residential-leaning project portfolio.
What you'll be doing:
- Leading the detailed design stage and coordinating design information across the project team
- Delivering projects using Revit (experience with BIM Level 2 is a plus), with working knowledge of NBS
- Ensuring designs comply with Building Regulations, the Building Safety Act and other relevant standards, liaising with approving authorities as needed
- Turning design concepts into workable technical solutions, carrying out risk assessments, and managing design changes through to completion
What they're looking for:
- At least 5 years' post-qualification experience working within the UK CIAT registration (or an equivalent international qualification)
- Strong technical detailing and coordination skills, ideally with residential project experience
- Confident using Revit and familiar with current Building Regulations and safety legislation
