Site Engineer County Durham Holiday Cover – 2 Weeks Our client is seeking an experienced Site Engineer proficient in setting out for roads using GPS. Key Responsibilities: Accurate setting out of civil engineering works on site including kerb lines, profiles and drainage Interpret and work from construction drawings, plans, and specifications. Assist the Site Manager and Project Manager with daily site coordination and supervision. Ensure works are carried out to the correct dimensions, levels, and tolerances. Assist in compiling QA/QC documentation, including check sheets and inspection records. Liaise with subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors, and the design team. Identify any design issues or clashes early and raise them proactively with the site team. Promote and maintain a strong health and safety culture.
