If you're a Structural Engineer looking for a role where progression isn't just talked about but genuinely planned, this opportunity offers the chance to join a growing consultancy that is investing heavily in both its people and its future.

Due to continued project wins and an increasing workload, an established multidisciplinary engineering consultancy is looking to appoint a Structural Engineer to its Sheffield office, conveniently located around a 15-minute walk from Sheffield station.

With an impressive portfolio spanning everything from high-rise developments and commercial schemes through to heritage refurbishments, residential projects and complex structural surveys, you'll enjoy a varied workload that will continually develop your technical expertise.

Joining a collaborative team of experienced Engineers and Technicians, you'll play a key role in the delivery of building structures projects from initial concept through to completion.

You'll undertake structural analysis and design across steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, timber and composite structures, working closely with senior engineers, architects and clients to produce practical, high-quality engineering solutions.

As your experience grows, you'll also have the opportunity to take increasing ownership of projects, build client relationships and develop your project management skills.

This role would suit an engineer with a solid grounding in building structures who is confident carrying out structural analysis and design using industry-standard software and is keen to broaden their responsibilities.

Experience delivering projects within a consultancy environment is important, while any exposure to running your own schemes or liaising directly with clients would be an advantage.

What makes this opportunity particularly attractive is the long-term career pathway on offer.

The business has a strong track record of promoting from within, with Chartered Engineers and ICE/IStruct E mentors available to support your professional development.

Whether your ambition is to become a Senior Engineer, achieve Chartership or eventually move into project and team leadership, you'll be given the support, autonomy and responsibility to get there.

Alongside challenging technical work, you'll benefit from unlimited annual leave, regular team socials, genuine flexibility and the freedom to shape your own career rather than follow a rigid progression structure.

With a city centre location that's easily accessible by rail, you'll be joining a business that continues to grow organically while maintaining a friendly, collaborative culture where everyone's contribution is valued.

If you're looking for a role that combines technical variety, genuine progression and an excellent working environment, I'd be delighted to tell you more.
