Senior Civil Engineer - Water
Location: Belfast
Salary: £45,000-£60,000
Working pattern: Hybrid - 3 days per week office/site based
We're looking for an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join a growing Water team in Belfast, delivering a range of water and wastewater infrastructure, drainage design, SuDS and surface water management projects.
Working within a multidisciplinary engineering environment, you'll lead and coordinate design delivery, develop technical solutions and support the development of junior engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver water, wastewater and drainage design packages.
- Coordinate and manage civil engineering design delivery across multidisciplinary projects.
- Apply relevant design standards, CDM regulations and health, safety and environmental requirements.
- Manage project delivery to programme, budget and quality standards.
- Contribute to technical and financial proposals and client presentations.
- Mentor and support junior team members.
About You
- Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Chartered or Incorporated Engineer, or working towards professional accreditation.
- Strong experience in water, wastewater and drainage design.
- Experience coordinating design teams within a consultancy environment.
- Knowledge of relevant design codes, standards and CDM regulations.
- Proficiency in software such as Causeway Flow, MicroDrainage and Civil 3D.
- Strong communication, project management and problem-solving skills.
