Job Description
Working collaboratively with developers, architects, contractors and statutory authorities, the business is recognised for producing technically robust, compliant and commercially considered engineering solutions from initial concept through to construction.\\n\\nAs a Senior Engineer you will assume a key technical role within the infrastructure team, taking responsibility for the delivery and coordination of complex civil engineering design packages. The position requires a high level of technical competence and the ability to lead the design process for highways, drainage, earthworks and hardstanding areas, ensuring all outputs meet relevant standards, approval requirements and best practice guidance. The role will involve close liaison with local authorities, statutory undertakers and clients, as well as participation in design meetings and contribution to project strategy and programme.
In addition, the successful candidate will provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior members of the team, supporting the ongoing development of internal capability and design quality.\\n\\nApplicants must demonstrate a high level of proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D for infrastructure modelling and detailed design, together with substantial experience in drainage and flow analysis using software such as MicroDrainage, InfoDrainage or Causeway Flow. Experience in the preparation and delivery of adoptable infrastructure designs, including S38, S104 and S278 agreements, is highly desirable. A thorough understanding of drainage networks, surface water management strategies and sustainable drainage systems is essential.\\n\\nCandidates should hold a degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline and possess proven experience within a Consultancy environment.
Chartered Civil Engineers, or those actively working towards chartered status with ICE or IStructE, are strongly encouraged to apply.
