Are you an experienced AutoCAD Technician looking to take the next step into leadership? We are working with a well-established Building Services consultancy looking to appoint an AutoCAD Team Leader with a Building Services background to oversee their drawing production team, mentor junior staff and help shape the next generation of technicians.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong AutoCAD background, who is keen to learn Revit or has some Revit experience already, and enjoys supporting others and wants to play a key role within a growing business.
The Role
This is a hands-on position where you will continue producing high-quality technical drawings while leading a small team of technicians and apprentices. Your responsibilities will include:
- Producing accurate AutoCAD drawings across commercial, education and residential projects.
- Supporting Revit modelling as required (training can be provided).
- Managing the workload of a small CAD team.
- Mentoring apprentices and junior technicians.
- Checking drawing quality and ensuring deadlines are achieved.
- Allocating work and monitoring project progress.
- Leading by example while promoting quality, professionalism and teamwork.
