Our client is a well-established practice that has been operating since 1975 and now has multiple offices across the Midlands. They provide high quality detailed technical design on projects UK wide for a client base including architects, developers and building owners. In addition to mainstream structural design, they specialise in unique and bespoke projects including complex timber structures, theme park structures, sculptures, eco houses and river alterations.
Responsibilities
- Produce detailed designs, calculations, specifications and technical reviews.
- Attend design, project progress and client engagement meetings.
- Liaise with contractors and clients, answering queries in relation to technical detailing.
- Carry out structural appraisals for all building types.
- Manage project costs and comply with designer's duties under the CDM regulations.
Qualifications
- Chartered or working towards Chartership with IStructE or ICE.
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
