An established building services design consultancy is seeking an experienced Revit MEP Technician to join its Manchester office. The company is well known for delivering high-quality mechanical and electrical (M&E) building services design across commercial, education, healthcare, retail, industrial, and high-tech sectors.
The business has embraced BIM processes and invested heavily in Autodesk Revit MEP to deliver accurate, coordinated, and efficient project designs. This role offers the chance to work on a variety of technically challenging projects, from straightforward retail schemes to large-scale commercial offices, complex factories, and data centres.
The Role
As a Revit MEP Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Producing high-quality Revit MEP models and drawings for a wide range of building services projects.
- Working on schemes including commercial offices, healthcare facilities, education buildings, retail developments, factories, and data centres.
- Coordinating mechanical Revit models and electrical Revit models for seamless integration with other disciplines.
- Interpreting engineers\’ sketches and specifications into detailed BIM/Revit models.
- Ensuring all work is compliant, coordinated, and completed to the highest standards.
- Maintaining Revit/BIM standards, templates, and family libraries.
- Collaborating closely with design teams to ensure project deadlines are met.
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience as a Revit MEP Technician within M&E building services design.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP and understanding of BIM workflows.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical building services and/or electrical building services systems.
- Ability to produce coordinated models from concept through to construction stage documentation.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work as part of a collaborative design team.
