I am working with a well-established multidisciplinary engineering consultancy that is looking to appoint a Senior Rail/Bridge Engineer to join its growing Rail team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of rail infrastructure projects across the South West and Wales, supporting the delivery of technically challenging schemes within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
You will play a key role in developing and delivering civil engineering designs throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring high-quality, safe and sustainable solutions for clients across the rail sector.
The Role
- Deliver civil engineering design solutions for rail infrastructure projects
- Support projects through feasibility, detailed design and implementation stages
- Prepare and review technical reports, drawings, calculations and specifications
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate project delivery
- Engage with clients and stakeholders, providing technical support and guidance
- Ensure designs meet relevant industry standards, safety requirements and client expectations
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and knowledge sharing across the team
- Support and mentor junior engineers where appropriate

- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or related discipline
- Working towards, or already holding, Incorporated or Chartered status
