I am looking to speak with a Principal/Associate Geo-Environmental Engineer situated in Manchester to build and develop a city centre Geo team for a very well respected Geo/Environmental Consultancy.

This is an opportunity for Principal/Associate Geo-Environmental Engineer to step up into a Senior leadership position, build a team whilst assisting the Director in local business development.

Technical expectations (not limited to) surround all aspects of ground investigations, contaminated land assessments, risk assessment, geotechnical recommendations, remediation, due diligence and validation.

Principal/Associate Geo-Environmental Engineer specification:

  • 8+ years in Geo-Environmental/Geotechnical Consultancy
  • Chartered with Geol Soc, Environment Science or ICE.
  • Expert writing and reviewing of phase 1, phase 2 reports, remediation, risk assessments and validations.
  • Understanding of geotechnical foundations and to give recommendations.
  • Preparing bids, tenders and actively being involved in business development.
  • Assisting with financial control, budgets and strategic meetings.
