The Opportunity
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established compliance and safety services provider that is looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to join their Projects department. Reporting into the Operations Manager, you will take ownership of projects from initial planning through to completion, ensuring all works are delivered safely, on time, within scope, and on budget. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual who enjoys leading site operations and managing multiple stakeholders.

Our client is a trusted compliance and safety services provider, delivering essential testing, maintenance, and repair services to ensure properties meet current legislation. They currently maintain over 70,000 housing association and local authority properties across the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and maintain a strong health and safety culture across all projects
- Identify, assess, and report risks to ensure the safety of staff and tenants
- Ensure all works commence with appropriate RAMS and job descriptions in place
- Carry out pre-start site assessments, inductions, and toolbox talks
- Communicate asbestos survey findings and site-specific instructions to site teams
- Undertake ongoing risk assessments and update RAMS as required
- Carry out health and safety audits and liaise with the Health & Safety Business Partner
- Inspect tools, PPE, and equipment to ensure compliance
- Maintain high standards of site housekeeping and safe working practices
- Attend site and client meetings, providing progress updates and feedback
- Produce weekly reports for the Operations Manager
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, encouraging proactive reporting
- Manage project handovers, system demonstrations, and completion documentation
- Complete stock takes at the start and end of projects
- Produce O&M manuals and ensure QS Electrical certification is completed
- Upload RAMS and documentation to customer shared systems
- Represent the business professionally at all times
- Carry out any additional duties as required by senior management
Candidate Requirements
- SMSTS qualification (essential)
- City & Guilds 2382 (18th Edition Wiring Regulations)
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or City & Guilds 2360 / 2330 Part 1 & 2 qualification
- Previous fire alarm installation experience, with knowledge of both analogue addressable and conventional fire alarm systems
- Full UK driving licence
