An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrician to join one of the UK's leading Facilities Management companies, covering Nottingham / Derby and the surrounding areas.

The ideal candidate will have a strong electrical background and hold recognised qualifications such as NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations or Maintenance, along with the 18th Edition as a minimum.

The Role

You will be working as part of a regional team across a number of retail sites, carrying out a wide range of building maintenance duties. The role involves both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works on electrical and mechanical plant.

Duties

  • Support other technicians with major and minor maintenance tasks
  • Complete all PPM and reactive maintenance within agreed timescales
  • Ensure all documentation and paperwork is completed accurately
  • Prioritise and carry out minor repairs efficiently
  • Ensure all tools and equipment are available and in good working order
  • Travel to additional sites within the region when required
  • Work closely with colleagues and clients to maintain high standards
  • Represent the company in a professional manner at all times
  • Work in line with company KPI's
  • Accurately update the Mercury system with live job information

Qualifications

  • NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations (or equivalent apprenticeship)
  • 18th Edition

Salary / Package

  • Basic Salary: £37,289
  • Standby Payments: £2,535
  • Additional £1,500 competency payment (upon completion of electrical fault training on catering/bakery equipment)
  • Total package: £41,324 (post-training) + overtime
  • Overtime: 1.5x Monday to Friday, 2x weekends
  • OTE typically £45,000 - £50,000+ (higher depending on overtime uptake)
  • Paid travel time
  • Call-out rota: 1 in 4
  • Company vehicle (with private use)
