A fast growing multi-disciplinary property consultancy is seeking an ambitious Associate Director - Building Surveyor to play a pivotal role in the growth of their North East presence. This is a rare opportunity to join an established national consultancy, and become a key figure in the North East, helping to drive business growth, strengthen client relationships, and shape the future direction of the region.

You'll have a high degree of autonomy, whilst benefiting from the support and excellent reputation of a successful national business. The role would suit a commercially minded Chartered Building Surveyor who enjoys developing client relationships, generating new opportunities, and taking ownership of projects from inception through to completion. You'll work closely with senior leadership to grow the regional offering, build on existing client relationships, and identify new business opportunities across the North East market.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Lead and deliver a broad range of professional and project-led Building Surveying instructions
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and key stakeholders
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities across the region
  • Support the continued growth of the Newcastle office
  • Manage and deliver projects across multiple sectors
  • Provide technical advice and consultancy services to a varied client base
  • Mentor and support junior team members as the office continues to grow

Projects & Clients:

  • Current workload includes education sector projects
  • Fire and flood damage assessments and insurance related instructions
  • Commercial property projects
  • Office fit outs and refurbishments
  • Planned maintenance and improvement works

What We're Looking For:

  • MRICS Chartered Building Surveyor
  • Strong Building Surveying experience gained within consultancy or private practice
  • Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships
