An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Multi Trader / Handyman / Handyperson / Fabric Engineer to join one of the country's leading Facilities Management companies working around London and the surrounding areas and the M25.

Ideal candidate location: Central London; however, candidates anywhere in and around London that are willing to travel will be considered. Some experience with basic plumbing and carpentry in a commercial setting will be beneficial for this role. This will be a multi-site role offering building maintenance services across a range of disciplines aimed at keeping services and costs in-house. Experience working in commercial premises, with PPM's particularly in the retail sector, would be a distinct advantage.

The work consists of a mix of PPM and reactive building works internally and externally to include:

  • Building Roof - repair roof leaks and quarterly gutter and gully clearance
  • Brickwork - repairs to walls
  • Floor - repair vinyl and ceramic tiles
  • Car Park / yard works
  • Roller shutters - annual PPM and reactive repairs
  • Painting and decorating - carry out minor painting repairs
  • Plumbing and drainage - unblock drains, urinals, toilets, and sinks. Repair leaking taps and washers.
  • Carpentry - carry out minor carpentry and joinery repairs within commercial premises and retail environments.

Package:

  • Basic salary - £32,992 + £2,340 standby = £35,332
  • 1 in 4 standby £180 per week
  • Mon - Fri 40 hours per week
  • Paid travel door to door
  • Overtime
  • Company Van with fuel card, option for private use
  • 33 Days Holiday inclusive of banks
  • Pension
  • Private Health Care
