You'll work across HVAC, mechanical and electrical building services tackling everything from planned preventative maintenance and fault finding to reactive repairs on a high-profile site in Coalville.
What you'll be doing:
- Carry out planned, preventative and reactive maintenance across HVAC, plant, equipment and building services.
- Diagnose and resolve faults across a wide range of HVAC systems, with a particular focus on VRV/VRF air conditioning systems.
- Work safely with refrigerants and ensure compliance with F-Gas requirements.
- Monitor and optimise plant and equipment performance, including using BMS systems to maintain comfortable and efficient environments.
- Identify potential risks, critical spares and opportunities to improve equipment reliability and performance.
- Provide strong mechanical and electrical expertise to the wider maintenance team.
- Complete all relevant risk assessments, permits, RAMS and safe systems of work.
- Accurately record completed works using the site's CAFM/mobile maintenance system.
- Work closely with the Site Supervisor and Account Manager to resolve building services issues and deliver an excellent service to the client.
- Participate in the on-call rota and work occasional overtime, including nights and weekends, when required.
What we're looking for:
You'll be an experienced HVAC engineer with a strong multi-skilled background and a genuine passion for delivering high-quality maintenance.
You'll need:
- Strong, proven experience in HVAC maintenance.
- Relevant mechanical qualifications/competence, ideally to City & Guilds standard.
- Strong multi-skilled mechanical/electrical ability.
- Excellent fault-finding skills.
- F-Gas qualification and experience handling refrigerants.
