An established, multi-disciplinary consultancy with an excellent reputation across the UK is looking to appoint a Civil Engineer to join its growing infrastructure team in Leeds. Working as part of a highly experienced team, you will be involved in the design and delivery of residential, commercial and mixed-use developments from planning through to construction.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design of drainage, highways and development infrastructure schemes, including SuDS, surface and foul water drainage, levels, earthworks and external works.
- Prepare technical designs and drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Undertake drainage modelling using MicroDrainage or InfoDrainage.
- Support projects through feasibility, planning, detailed design and construction stages.
- Work closely with clients, local authorities, LLFAs, water companies and internal multidisciplinary teams.
- Support Graduate Engineers and collaborate with teams across transport planning, structural engineering and environmental disciplines.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience within a UK consultancy environment.
- Good understanding of highways and drainage design for development projects.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D and MicroDrainage or InfoDrainage is advantageous.
- Knowledge of Section Agreements including S104, S106, S38 and S278.
- Strong communication skills and a desire to continue developing technically and professionally.
