An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mechanical Estimator to join a well-established and rapidly growing company serving some of the best-known commercial and retail clients. Due to continued growth, they are looking to strengthen their pre-construction team with the addition of a commercially minded Mechanical Estimator. This is a hybrid role based from the Castleford office, with occasional travel and overnight stays required to support projects and client meetings.
As a Mechanical Estimator, you will play a key role in securing new business by producing accurate, competitive and commercially viable estimates for a variety of mechanical installation projects. Working closely with the wider pre-construction and operational teams, you will ensure tenders are submitted to the highest standard whilst identifying opportunities to maximise project value.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare detailed mechanical estimates, material take-offs and cost plans.
- Review drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labour estimates.
