We are seeking an experienced Client Facing Quantity Surveyor to join the team supporting a large energy infrastructure project. The role involves regular site presence and active support in commercial management across infrastructure works.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Senior QS in managing project costs, contracts, and commercial matters.
- Monitor and report on project budgets, variations, and claims.
- Maintain accurate records of site measurements and valuations.
- Assist with the preparation of interim and final accounts.
- Contribute to risk management and cost-control processes.
- Engage with contractors, clients, and project teams to ensure commercial compliance.
Key Requirements
- 3 - 7 years' experience in a QS / Assistant QS or commercial role.
- Experience in infrastructure, utilities, civil engineering, or energy projects.
- Familiarity with NEC and/or FIDIC contracts desirable.
- Comfortable with regular site-based work.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
