An established and rapidly growing property consultancy is looking to appoint a Building Surveyor to join their Manchester team. With a strong pipeline of residential and commercial work, this is an excellent opportunity for a Building Surveyor looking to develop their career within a supportive, ambitious business.
The company has experienced significant growth over the last five years, and due to an increase in demand, they are looking to add a Building Surveyor to the team in Manchester. You'll join a collaborative team in a modern city centre office, with genuine opportunities for progression.
The Role
You'll be involved in a varied workload across the North West, including Greater Manchester and Yorkshire. Typical responsibilities include:
- Residential Home Buyer Surveys
- Schedule of Condition reports
- Defect diagnosis and reporting
- General building consultancy instructions
You'll also have the opportunity to gain exposure to larger commercial and industrial projects, working alongside colleagues delivering warehouse, logistics and mixed use developments.
About You
We're keen to speak with Building Surveyors who have:
- Experience within a consultancy environment (graduate through to senior level)
- MRICS qualification or currently working towards APC
- Experience carrying out Home Buyer Surveys would be highly advantageous
- Strong report writing and communication skills
- Experience in drone surveys would be beneficial but is by no means essential
Senior applicants should also be comfortable developing client relationships and supporting business development activities.
