North West
Up to £21.00 per hour + Door-to-Door Travel + Overtime + Company Van + 38-Hour Week
Looking for a role where you're paid from the moment you leave home? A well-established building services and HVAC contractor is looking to add an experienced Commercial Air Conditioning Engineer to its North West service team. With long-term maintenance contracts across a varied commercial portfolio, you'll enjoy a stable workload, modern equipment and genuine long-term career prospects.
The role is focused primarily on commercial air conditioning systems, although any experience working on commercial refrigeration equipment would be a real advantage.
The Role
You'll carry out planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs, fault finding and servicing across a range of commercial sites throughout the North West. This is a mobile position working on a variety of air conditioning equipment, with occasional refrigeration work where required.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintain and repair commercial air conditioning systems.
- Diagnose faults and carry out reactive breakdown repairs.
- Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
- Work on equipment including:
- Split Systems
- Multi-Split Systems
- VRV / VRF Systems
- Air Handling Units (AHUs)
- Complete electronic service reports using a tablet or mobile device.
- Ensure all work complies with F-Gas regulations and company procedures.
- Deliver a professional service while maintaining strong customer relationships.
- Assist with commercial refrigeration maintenance where required, including small integral units and cold rooms.
What You'll Need
- At least 3 years' experience as a Commercial Air Conditioning Engineer, HVAC Engineer or Air Conditioning Service Engineer.
- Valid F-Gas Certification.
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or equivalent.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Experience working on VRV, VRF, split systems and AHUs.
- Commercial refrigeration experience would be beneficial but is not essential.
- Willingness to take part in a 1 in 7 call-out rota.
