Intermediate to Senior Level – Contractor-Led Design & Build. A well-established building services consultancy is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join its expanding team. The business delivers technically challenging projects within contractor-led design and build environments. The team works closely with contractors, consultants, and clients to provide practical, high-quality mechanical design solutions from detailed design through to project completion.

The company encourages engineers to take ownership of their work, contribute ideas, and play an active role in both project delivery and future client development. The Mechanical Design Engineer will play a key role in the delivery of Stage 4 and Stage 5 mechanical building services design within fast-paced design & build environments.

Projects span a diverse range of sectors including healthcare, commercial, education, industrial, residential, pharmaceutical, and public sector developments, with involvement in technically complex M&E, BIM-led, and sustainable building services projects from concept through to delivery.

  • Deliver Stage 4 and Stage 5 mechanical building services designs
  • Work within contractor-led design & build project environments
  • Produce and coordinate detailed mechanical design information
  • Develop and manage Revit models and technical drawings
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and clients
  • Support projects through technical coordination and delivery stages
  • Take ownership of project responsibilities and work independently where required
