Overview

In this role you will lead landscape design across a national portfolio for a leading care home developer. You will partner with cross-functional teams to ensure BNG and SuDS integration from planning through construction. You’ll coordinate external consultants and manage multiple live schemes, keeping planning conditions and local authority requirements on track. This is an impact-focused position where you shape sustainable, compliant landscapes that support project timelines and regulatory standards. You’ll work in a collaborative, proactive environment that values design excellence and delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Lead landscaping input across the site pipeline and manage external consultant briefs/appointments
  • Coordinate BNG integration within landscaping schemes for compliant, deliverable outcomes
  • Apply LLFA/SuDS requirements and stay current with legislation
  • Oversee planning consultee requirements and assist with discharge of planning conditions
  • Support landscaping design compliance through construction phases

Key requirements

  • Experience in landscape design within care home, residential, or healthcare sectors
  • Strong knowledge of BNG requirements and current/emerging SuDS legislation
  • Experience liaising with LLFA and other statutory consultees
  • Excellent design, communication, and project management skills
  • Proficiency in CAD, Vectorworks, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office
  • Full UK driving licence desirable
