We are currently looking to recruit a number of experienced Electricians for a major Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project based in Monk Fryston. This is an excellent opportunity to join a large-scale energy infrastructure scheme working within the rapidly growing renewable energy sector. The project offers consistent hours, competitive rates and the chance to work on a technically interesting installation alongside an experienced site team.
We are particularly keen to speak with electricians who have previous experience working on:
- BESS / Battery Storage projects
- Substations
- Industrial installations
- Energy or infrastructure projects
- Large commercial or heavy industrial environments
The Role
Duties will include a range of electrical installation works across the BESS site, supporting the delivery of key energy infrastructure works. Typical responsibilities may include:
- Installation of containment systems
- Cable pulling and termination
- Tray, basket and conduit work
- Panel and equipment installation
- Working alongside commissioning and engineering teams
- Ensuring all works are completed safely and to project specifications
This is a fast-paced project environment, so candidates must be able to work effectively as part of a team and maintain high standards of workmanship and site safety.

- Hours: 45 hours per week
- Working Hours: 07:00 - 17:00
- Rate: £32.00 per hour

Requirements
To be considered, candidates should have:
- Relevant electrical trade qualifications
- ECS/JIB card
- Previous industrial or infrastructure project experience
- Ability to work from drawings and site plans
- Strong awareness of site health & safety procedures
- Previous BESS or substation experience is highly desirable, although electricians from other heavy industrial backgrounds will also be considered.
