A fantastic vacancy has arisen for an experienced Refrigeration Design / Applications Engineer to join a successful refrigeration manufacturer in the East Anglia area. The role will involve assisting the Refrigeration technical manager with key roles within the business, listed below.
The Role includes:
- The creation of refrigeration M&E schedules and designs.
- Produce a quotation/ cost base using software and training provided.
- Create and review specifications of refrigeration systems and components.
- Creation of designs with BREEAM standards incorporated within the design.
- Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure the refrigeration specifications are feasible.
- Provide documentation related to product design to meet regulatory requirements BSEN 378.
- Utilising software to compile heat/load calculations.
- Creation and review of environmental and compliance submissions.
The successful candidate will require to have the following:
- Excellent people skills.
- Good computer literacy.
- The ability to work to tight deadlines.
- High attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and the ability to work on your own initiative.
- Some basic CAD experience (not essential).
- C&G 2079 (not essential).
- 7671 18th Edition (not essential).
- Electrical qualification or knowledge (not essential).
- Building services degree (not essential).
Package:
- Competitive salary ranging from £40,000 to £50,000 dependent on experience and qualifications.
