Are you an experienced Industrial Refrigeration Engineer looking for a new opportunity with excellent pay, benefits, and long-term stability? We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established, respected refrigeration business operating across the Midlands. This is a great opportunity to join a growing team with strong values, long-term contracts, and real career progression.
What's in it for you?
- Competitive hourly rate: £19.00 - £25.00/hour (DOE - £25 for senior engineers)
- Paid door to door - no unpaid travel time
- 40-hour standard week
- Overtime at time and a half / double time - plenty available
- Company van (Ford Transit Custom) - available for personal use (mileage charged)
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
- Sick pay: 6 weeks full, then 6 weeks half
- Company pension: 4% employer contribution (after 3 months)
- Private healthcare & death in service insurance
- Participation in a standby rota (after site familiarisation):
- 1st man: approx. 6 times/year - £210/week + £60/call or £70 (weekends) + overtime pay
- 2nd man: approx. 2 times/year - £210 (Fri-Sun night) + £70/call + overtime pay
What we're looking for:
- Experience in industrial refrigeration - ammonia and CO2 systems - training can be provided for the right candidate
- F-Gas certified
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong fault-finding skills
- Willing to travel and take part in standby rota
